All Pirelli Tyres Stuff

Most, brands of  tyres, were originally made to provide the vehicle with traction. Of course, that could go anywhere. They were developed to give the car driver excellent durability. Whilst also giving good wear and traction in any weather that the vehicle could come up across, including heavy snow falls.
Pirelli tyres, wear technically designed with the help of racing tyres and were derived from a “cut-chip and tear-resistant tread compound”. Naturally, this would give the tyres tread exceptional grip and wear resistance when driving on roads that would normally tear tyres to shreds. Consequently, such as gravel roads.

Following in the footsteps of other large tyre companies. Then Pirelli have developed an all-season tyre that can be used on high performance vehicles. Pirelli offer the public a tyre that covers winter and summer climate changes.

I personally like this idea. Especially for drivers who live in hilly and mountainous regions of the world. For this reason then these tyres benefit the driver when changing from a nice sunny day to a torrential   downpour. Also these tyres will cover a wide range of temperatures. Consequently , helping the driver on a sudden unexpected frosty morning.

In common with many other all-weather tyres, the new Pirelli tyres have a much lower noise levels say compared with similar products of yesteryear. Also this tyre could be a competitor for the Michelin CrossClimate range of tyres.

An added bonus on the Pirelli all-season tyres is the use of seal inside technology. Hence, this gives the tyres protection against nails and screws penetrating the tyre. Objects of 4 mm long can penetrate the tread without the tyre deflating. Although this tyre is not a runflat, it certainly gives some protection from picked up sharp objects in the road.

Finally the new tyre is equipped with tread blocks that will stand up to a certain amount of snowfall. This is where I slightly disagree. Therefore I am not sure that this is as good as a traditional winter tyre such as Nokian Winter tyres. My gut feeling is that if you live in a snowfall area or hilly area. When snow can become a problem, then buy genuine winter tyres.

Maserati Levante Pirelli P-Zero Tyres- The challenge for which the Trident puts its trust in P Zeros

Maserati Levante Pirelli P-Zero Tyres-RT @Pirelli: #Levante:1st #SUV bearing the Trident debuts @Zegna with custom #PZero tyres:

Maserati Levante Pirelli P-Zero Tyres-The efforts of Pirelli during its mammoth F1 race supplier stint are winning friends in the “supercar” class of car manufacturers. These companies ar are now fitting Pirelli tyres to their models.Including the Maserati Levante.

Pirelli have certainly come up trumps when it comes to supplying tyres for the supercars of this world?

Maserati Levante Pirelli P-Zero Tyres
Maserati Levante Pirelli P-Zero Tyres

The Pirelli P-Zero has been favoured by many of the supercar manufacturers, including tyres for the new Maserati. The Levante is of course in the SUV class of cars, but this Maserati packs a punch. The car is powered by 3-litre twin-turbo power unit, fuelled by petrol. A 3 litre 275-hp V6v Levante diesel engine is also available. The latter is fitted with 255/60ZR18 Pirelli P-Zero tyres and the 430-hp is fitted with 265/50ZR19 front tyres and 295/45ZR19 rear tyres all of which are Pirelli P-Zero.

Pirelli tyres have had to develop a new compound to cope with these large and powerful SUV vehicles. The new tyres have also had to make for comfort, as well as power. Comfort is of great importance, for a vehicle of this size.

Tyre companies, like Pirelli, are trusted by these supercar manufacturers because of their expertise and research and development in the motorsport scene.

In fact, Pirelli is now the sole tyre suppliers to Maserati. Maserati particularly like the Pirelli P-Zero tyres. As I have explained before the P-Zero, has been specially developed to cope with size and power of the new Levante from Maserati.

The P-Zero tyres have been specifically designed to adapt to the certain characteristics of this Levante SUV vehicle, with great expertise coming from the F1 racing scene and other motorsport tyre activities.

Pirelli F1 PZero Purple-The New F1 2016 Ultra soft Tyre

Pirelli F1 PZero Purple
Pirelli F1 PZero Purple

Pirelli F1 PZero Purple – Purple is the colour of the stripe around the sidewall of the new tyre for dry conditions, as chosen by a flood of votes on social …

In my opinion. This is a great choice of tyre.Hence, to add to the Pirelli family of F1 tyres.Hence, the tyre looks good in its bright purple lettering?  if you are a tyre or an F1 racing enthusiast.

In the 2016 coming race season. Pirelli will be using their medium compound tyres(white). Hard compound (orange)and soft compound (yellow) with supersoft (red) compounds. Consequently, these will be joined by a fifth ultra-soft (purple) compound. Thus, the softest compound in the Pirelli racing range.

The racing will be more exciting. Because the winning team would have made all the right decisions. Including, the correct tyres to race on.Hence, that particular day? The previous race seasons have brought Pirelli tyres much controversy. Drivers and officials have been blaming the tyres. As a result,  for all sorts of problems.

In fact at one stage. I thought that Pirelli would lose the contract. Indeed, to their arch enemy Michelin tyres. Undoubtedly, who were in the hunt for the lucrative F1 tyre contract. Things settled down towards the 2015 season and Pirelli came up trumps, in the bidding war. Pirelli also brought out some new tyre compounds. Including the new Pirelli F1 PZero Purple, softer compound.

Pirelli F1 PZero Purple

As we are speaking about the 2016 race season, then The BBC has learned that the FIA, which governs F1, will instruct Pirelli to design a tyre that will allow drivers to push hard for longer.

Pirelli chairman Marco Tronchetti Provera told teams and drivers at a meeting earlier this month, where dissatisfaction with the current tyres was discussed, that it could produce whatever the F1 wanted as long as it had clear commission.

Pirelli has been given preliminary information about the performance the cars are expected to have in 2017 so it can start working on tyre design.

The FIA plans to outline how it wants tyres to perform and will provide all necessary data to the company by the end of March.

Winter Sottozero Tyres -Maserati in the snow shows off the Pirelli’s

Winter Sottozero Tyres

Cruising the alpine roads of nothing Italy with Winter Sottozero Tyres #The Perfect Fit and #Maserati.

Winter Sottozero Tyres; This is the stuff that proves the benefits of fitting winter tyres. These top of the market sports saloons can really show off when

pirelli tyres
Pirelli ice runflat a product probably developed from the car rally scene

driven with the correct tyres for the job? in this case the Pirelli Sottozero 3 tyres. Italian flare car s using Italian flare tyres, a great combination. Pirelli also produce many other great winter tyre products including the one in the picture the Scorpion Ice winter tyre. The Winter Sottozero Tyres are a product that has been developed by Pirelli tyres to fit the super car range, including this Maserati. These cars are well equipped to speed down the German motorway system at 150 MPH and then drive up the snow covered mountain roads that lead to the ski resorts in Austria and Switzerland.

For the small to medium cars, then the Pirelli Cinturato All season is the tyre for them. This tyre can be left on the car the all year round. If however you live in a more northern area with heavy snow falls then i would suggest that you went for the Scorpio Ice and Snow tyre.

This tyre is a more aggressive tyre in the snow and ice of countries such as Norway and Sweden, who are likely to witness very harsh winters. These recommendations are of course aimed at the driver who is a complete Pirelli tyre fan. Other tyre makes are just as good but Pirelli have a very good name and a large following

The more up to date type of vehicle driver, would own a SUV vehicle. it is most advisable to fit all-weather pr winter tyres to these vehicle,as most of them are useless in bad weather, for these Pirelli advise the Scorpion Winter.

Pirelli Scorpion SUV All season tyre-ATR, Mud Tyres, SUV tyres

Pirelli Scorpion SUV All season tyre

Pirelli Scorpion SUV All season tyre

Pirelli Scorpion SUV All season tyre;If you need mud tyres, perfect on the road too, choose SCORPION™ ATR: it facilitates the most demanding off-road driving and guarantees maximum comfort on all types of terrain.

This new Pirelli Scorpion SUV All season tyre, from Pirelli, follows in the new trend from tyre makers, of having a summer tyre with winter capabilities. The new Pirelli Scorpion has an heavy duty off road tread pattern that will allow the driver to go off road.

This is beneficial for the SUV driver. Most SUV’s come out on a normal summer tyre, which are useless off road or on snow and ice. Most drivers go off road a little even if it is only on a grass verge.

I have seen SUV’s actually stuck on a grass verge or on the edge of a school playing field.

Last summer our local football club.Held a very popular car boot sale. It was held on the actual football field. Hence, with car parking near bye. The day started off nice and sunny. But was later followed by a real heavy downpour of rain.

I could not believe how many drivers were stuck on the wet grass. The bigger the vehicle the more stuck they were? the large BMW and Mercedes SUV vehicles suffered the most. I always recommend, that they fit an all weather tyre when they replace the first set of tyres. This new Pirelli Scorpion looks ideal for the job.

Pirelli Scorpion SUV All season tyre

Other tyres from the Pirelli winter range include the “SCORPION™ WINTER” which have been especially  designed to fit modern SUVs and CUVs, for the use of winter motoring, with a special emphasis on the upper end class of vehicle, including the SUV’s and cross-over vehicles.

The main reason for this tyre was to control better down-hill braking and cornering in snow and other winter road conditions, whilst keeping total control of your vehicle. These were especially designed with the larger size tyres fitted to the likes of the BMW and Mercedes people carriers, to help in bad winter weather conditions.

Pirelli Tyre Choice-Pirelli explains new 2016 tyre choice plans for Formula One cars

Pirelli Tyre Choice

"<yoastmark

Pirelli has explained how it expects a new system to allow teams more tyre choice freedom in 2016 will work – as teams close in on finalising the regulations.

late on in the 2015 season The F1 governing body chose between Pirelli and a new bid from Michelin. Both these great tyre companies wanted to change the way that the tyre system operated for the 2016 season. Pirelli retained the franchise and also came up with some new ideas.

In the 2016 season Pirelli will now odder the racing teams three dry tyre compounds. This will be instead of the two offered in the 2015 racing season . The three compounds will cover the full racing weekend.

it gets a little complicated, with Pirelli allocating two sets of tyres for each race. Only one set though, can be used. It also offers one set of the softest compound tyres, that can only be used in Q3.

To finalise every driver will be able to choose a further ten sets of tyres from all three compounds. This will take their race allocation to thirteen sets of tyres.

Pirelli Tyre Choice

Each driver will then be able to choose 10 further sets from the three compounds to take their weekend allocation to 13.

I think that if you take some control out of choice of tyres, then you may be showing different skills? Michelin tyres wanted to come up with a similar proposition, but were pipped at the post by Pirelli, who also had some new ideas of there own.

In the 2016 coming race season Pirelli will be using their medium compound tyres(white),Hard compound (orange), soft compound (yellow) and supersoft (red) compounds. These will be joined by a fifth ultra-soft (purple) compound. The softest compound in the Pirelli racing range.

The racing will be more exciting because the winning team would have made all the right decisions including the correct tyres to race on, that particular day?
